Worcester Park Run

Interested in improving your stamina at the same time as jogging with fellow runners?

If so then Worcester Park Run might just be the thing for you. It’s a 5 km run which is scheduled every Saturday morning at 9:00 am at Worcester Woods Country Park. Because it is a weekly event it is a good opportunity to improve your running skills and improve on times in getting ready for a race, or just for your own fitness sake.

Taking part in this event weekly is also a good opportunity to meet like- minded runners and make new friends, every week after the run participants go for a coffee so this event is also quite social. The run is open to runners of all abilities, so there needn’t be any need to be put off from doing the race if you have only just taken up running. There is no entry fee for taking part (which is even better!) and the event is organised and ran entirely by volunteers.

So if you are interested contact worcesterhelpers@parkrun.com or register online and bring your printed copy of your barcode with you when you turn up. This will register your finishing time after every race so that you can work on improving.
